Rest is Lovely and Divine.

"Be happy for this moment.
This moment is your life."
-Omar Khayyam

It’s a cold, cold gray day in France.  (Well, I assume so anyway.  I haven't been outdoors in 48 hours.)

With weather like this I find myself quite busy napping, catching up on 3 years of TV watching, and doing important stuff like sorting my sock drawer.

In other words: I am resting.

No new work, no openings, no meetings, no travel. I am in full on “Rest, Recuperate, and Reflect” mode.

And that is OK.  No, it's more than OK.

Rest is lovely and Divine.

In the meantime, if you need me, you’ll likely find me curled up in a ball on the sofa in the living room under my favorite purple velour blanket.

I am one part sleep and one part daydream.

I am happy for this moment.

BIG Love,

-Kesha

  1. Love it! I did that mostly in December and every Sunday. Gearing up for my birthday month and my 2013 in-house residency. :)

    1. Deborah, I LOVE the idea of the "Birthday Month"! Don't we all just need more quiet time to rest and reflect? With how big and busy our lives can get...

Every life needs a "pause" button.

    1. I plan on enjoying it until I can't take it anymore. Then I'll get back in the studio.
